On October 1-5, DMU Vice President Prof. ZHAO Youtao led a delegation to visit Ecole de Management de Normandie Business School (EM Normandie), Université Paris Cité, UNESCO, and the Port of Antwerp-Bruges.
EM Normandie, one of the oldest French business schools, established cooperation with DMU in 2008. So far over 40 of DMU students has participated the exchange programs between the two institutions. During the visit, the School’s Dean Prof. Elian Pilvin received the delegation. Both sides expressed their intent to deepen cooperation in the areas of joint degree programs and students exchange.
During the visit to Université Paris Cité, the delegation was received by Prof. Pierre-Paul Vidal, director or research at CNRS, and visited the Cognitive and Behavioral Perception Laboratory.
During the visit to UNESCO, Mr. Edouard Planche, Head of Culture Unit and an underwater cultural heritage expert at UNESCO, received the delegation. He gave high praise to DMU’s first group of students for internships at UNESCO and expressed a desire for continued cooperation in internship programs and joint events.
Antwerp-Bruges Port Authority, known for its advanced management and maritime expertise, has maintained a sound partnership with DMU since 2014. Vice President Mr. Luc Arnouts received the delegation. The two sides discuss future cooperation and signed the agreement on Port of Antwerp-Bruges Maritime Awards.
