On November 20th, a delegation led by Charlène MWEPU-BROS, Consul of the Consulate General of the Republic of France in Shenyang, visited Dalian Maritime University (DMU). The delegation, including representatives from 10 French universities and education groups, received a warm welcome from DMU Vice President ZHAO Youtao.
ZHAO highlighted the university’s characteristics, talent training and international cooperation, especially the recent exchange and cooperation with French universities, expressing a keen interest in expanding collaboration with high-level French universities in areas such as student exchange, faculty visit and collaborative research.
Charlène MWEPU-BROS expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and provided insights into the characteristics of French higher education. She expressed the hope that the visit would build a cooperative bridge for future collaborations between DMU and French universities. Representatives from the French institutions introduced their schools and academic specialties, expressing a strong willingness to collaborate with DMU.
Following the meeting, the delegation hosted the “Hello, France!” French Higher Education Info Session at DMU, offering a general overview of French institutions and serving as a window into each school’s academic programs, admissions requirements and application processes.
