On the afternoon of April 16, the 2025 Global Green Supply Chain Partners Conference of China Marine Bunker (Group) Co., Ltd. was held in Shanghai. Shan Hongjun, President of Dalian Maritime University, was invited to attend the conference and deliver a speech.

On behalf of the university, Shan Hongjun congratulated on the successful convening of the conference and briefly introduced the university's scientific research achievements in recent years, which have focused on the new trends of port and shipping energy transformation, such as marine clean fuel technology and the layout of regional green marine bunker supply chains. He emphasized that the construction of a green marine fuel supply chain is not only a technological and industrial revolution but also a transformation and transcendence of development concepts. It requires all parties in the industry to have a firm determination to open up for cooperation and make innovative breakthroughs. By taking digitalization, intelligence, and greenization as the key points, we should promote the global green marine fuel supply chain to move towards a more efficient and sustainable direction. He stated that Dalian Maritime University is willing to work together with all parties in the industry to seize opportunities, coordinate the layout, conduct practical cooperation, overcome difficulties, and jointly build a partnership of "shared responsibilities, joint research on technologies, and shared achievements" to jointly contribute to the high-quality and sustainable development of the global green marine fuel supply chain.
The 2025 Global Green Supply Chain Partners Conference of China Marine Bunker (Group) Co., Ltd., with the theme of "Green and Intelligent Supply Chain Navigation, a New Journey for Marine Bunkers", gathered partners from relevant fields around the world to jointly discuss the opportunities and challenges in the construction of the green supply chain, so as to promote the dissemination and popularization of the concept of green shipping and help the sustainable development of the global shipping industry.
