DMU President Sun Yuqing Made a Report at the 99th Plenary Session of IMO’s Maritime Safety Committee (MSC)

The 99th Plenary Session of IMO’s Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) was held in IMO headquarters in London from May 16 to 25. More than 900 people, including government delegations of over 90 member States and representatives of over 60 international organizations, attended the session.

 

  

 

DMU President Sun Yuqing was invited to the session and made a report called Development of China’s Maritime Education. He introduced the characteristics and development patterns of China’s maritime education, and expressed the determination to make due contribution to the development of global maritime industry.

During the session, many activities were held by the delegation, such as luncheon at IMO headquarters, visit to COSCO Shipping (UK) Co., Ltd., and talk with IMO Secretary-General Kitack Lim.
