On the afternoon of May 8th, a delegation led by Kenneth Lim, Assistant Chief Executive of Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), visited Dalian Maritime University (DMU) to exchange views on how to carry out cooperation in areas such as port automation and carbon emission reduction.

        DMU Vice President Zhao Youtao expressed warm welcome to the delegation and briefly introduced the university’s characteristics, talent training and international cooperation. He said that DMU has always attached great importance to the cooperation with maritime industry and actively promoted the development and innovation of the industry. MPA is an important partner of DMU and this visit will help promote substantive cooperation.

        Kenneth Lim expressed gratitude for the warm welcome. He introduced the research status of MPA in the field of ship decarbonization, digital ships, etc. He hoped that the two sides could take this opportunity to carry out cooperation in talent cultivation.

                After the meeting, the delegation visited the Exhibition Hall.
