On June 20, Chairman of Board of Governors, Captain Ernest Mihayo Bupamba, Principal Dr. Erick Phares Massami and Administrative and Personnel Officer Dr. Devotha Edward Mandanda of Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute, Tanzania Visited DMU.

Vice President Zhao Youtao met the visitors in the conference room in Administration Building 917. He extended a warm welcome to the visitors, and made a brief review of the cooperation on exchange of teachers between the two parties. He expressed DMU’s willingness to support as always the development of Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute.

Ernest Mihayo Bupamba expressed thanks to DMU’s hospitality. He hoped to renew the Memorandum of Understanding with DMU, and have further substantial cooperation on teacher training. Then the two parties had discussions on the relevant issues.

After the meeting, the delegation of Dar es Salaam Maritime Institute visited DMU’s International Students Office, land-based engine room and exhibition hall.
