On the afternoon of March 21st, Ma Shuo, Vice President of World Maritime University visited DMU. DMU Vice president Zhao Youtao received the guest. Director of DMU International Cooperation and Exchange Office Fu Xianping, Dean of College of International Collaboration Zhang Jinlei, Prof. Zhao Jian from Navigation College attended the meeting.

Vice president Zhao Youtao extended a warm welcome to Ma Shuo. Zhao made a brief introduction to DMU and the cooperative history and results between DMU and WMU. He expressed that WMU aimed at training advanced managers for maritime authorities, shipping companies and maritime institutes. And he said that WMU was one of DMU’s most important partners and hoped that the meeting can further deepen and widen mutual cooperation.

Ma Shuo introduced some new ideas of WMU’s foreign cooperation. He expressed that DMU had made great achievements in training advanced talents and postgraduate education. He hoped that the cooperation between DMU and WMU can foster long and stable development.

Ma Shuo and DMU attendees exchanged ideas on evaluation matters and discussed specific items on contract renewal of master’s program of Maritime Safety and Environmental Management and future cooperation.
