Every year Dalian Maritime University invites more than 300 overseas scholars and experts as well as government officers to the University for visits, lectures, academic exchanges and joint research. Many distinguished visitors have included the Deputy Director-General of Denmark Maritime Safety Administration, the Presidents and Lloyd's, officers of IMO,as well as presidents and scholars from many universities. Overseas students from many countries such as Korea,France,Palestime,laos,Yemen,Jordan, Benin,and Maldioves are now studying at the University.The university also sends more than 90 faculty members abroad for advance training, academic visits and participation in international conference and seminars.
