International Conferences and Seminars:
Owing to its beautiful location and its good reputation in academic circles, both at home and abroad, the University hosts a number of international conferences every year. During the past years, many influential conference were held at the University: the fist International Maritime University presidents'forum, the Asian Maritime an Fishery university Forum, the fist International Conference on logistics and Strategies for Ports, and the International 
Maritime-Tech Conference for Dalian to name a few. These International conference have not only promoted the international exchange and cooperation at the University, but have also won favorable comments from national and international and international participants, thus considerably enhancing the University's worldwide reputation.
