There are approximately 32 dormitory buildings on campus to house about 15,000 students live on campus,therefore ,one of the university’s most distinctive characteristics is its closely-knit and integrated residential community.

A vast range of cultural ,educational,athletic and social activities are available to DMU students ,faculty ,and staff .getting involved in campus life is the quickest way to become a part of the university and create one’s own experience.campus life activities are built around the concept of encouraging each community member to express his or her talents while respecting all the members of our pluralistic community.

Student activities

Student activities play a key role for students during their college experience .At the DMU campus ,there are more than 60 different kinds of activities .Students can participate in many different English Corners ,the popular Broadcasting Station and Youth Volunteer Association ,as well as activities related to their academic ,sports ,and individual interests .The university also sponsors many competitions which allow the student opportunities to test their abilities in a variety of ways :public speaking ,business and computer skills ,debating skills ,singing ,and theater .It is a well-rounded program which continues to grow as the students express interest and enthusiasm for additional activities.
